Delete your Vehicle Doc Lanka account

This page explains how to delete your account for the Vehicle Doc Lanka app, developed by Brahmiraj Tharmapalan, and what happens to your data. You only have an account if you turned on email reminders.
Option 1: In the app (immediate)
- Open Vehicle Doc Lanka.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account and its data are deleted straight away.
Option 2: By email
If you can't use the app, email vehicledoclanka@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We use your sending address to find and verify the account.
We delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What gets deleted
- All your email reminders (vehicle nicknames, document types, expiry dates)
- The history of reminder emails we sent you
- Any confirmation or password reset codes
- Your email address, password hash and Google sign-in link
You are signed out on every device immediately. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.
What is kept
Nothing personal. A minimal record with no email address or other personal data remains only to keep our database consistent.
Documents on your phone
Your document photos, document numbers and vehicle details are stored only on your phone and are never on our servers. To remove them, delete them in the app or uninstall the app.
